Nursery Manager

I am Kathy and I have worked at Sky High Achievers Since 2016.

Throughout my time here I have been overwhelmed by the support from our families in our journey on reflection of practice and the move Towards the Curiosity Approach. Everyone is always willing to assist, from fixing resources to creating us new ones, which have been greatly been received and have allowed for our children to develop their imaginations further. I feel as a setting,we all offer support and advice both on a professional and personal approach. I feel the team are what make me, and us what we are.

I joined Sky High Achievers working across both sites supporting both nursery managers in March 2018.

I am now based at the Melandra site permanently I am currently supporting the everyday practice within the Toddler room.

I enjoy getting to know the children and their families in my care and strive to bring the best possible care and learning outcomes for the children.

I am currently studying with Doncaster College and university centre via distance learning to gain my Level 4 and 5 foundation degree in early years.

I have a BA in early years . I have worked alongside children for 7 years in various settings, therefor carrying a wealth of experience that I feel I can bring to the team and continually develop my practice.

Hi, my name is Lynette. I began first building my knowledge and practice in childcare as a volunteer here at Sky High Achievers, successfully then gaining a position in the company and recently achieving my level three. I am the joker of the group and enjoy watching and supporting the children learn, grow and develop at the time in the baby room as well as parents building their trust in me with their babies.

I am level 2 qualified and currently working towards my level 3 qualification. I'm based in the Waddler room and I am enjoying the every challenges of the position and feel i am rewarded by watching the children overcome obstacles everyday.

My background includes working in Day nurseries, organising over 5’s development projects, teaching Early Years at HE and FE level and working with families in need.

I have just completed my NVQ Level 3 to become a qualified Nursery Nurse. I have worked at Sky High Achievers since May 2018. I love the nursery and the team I work with. My Son attends, he is two years old and I couldn’t ask for better staff to look after him. I am passionate about my job. I love taking care of the children in the nursery and making sure that I am setting a good example to them.
